SaveOurSaluda.org - A newly organized
 Citizens Action Group
started in Marietta ,South Carolina.

Our Mission Statement - Protecting and restoring the Saluda watershed through environmental awareness and citizen action.
  
 S.O.S is dedicated to monitor the aggressive development in the Foothills of the Blue Ridge Mountains and the effects of development that causes degradation to our fragile and diverse ecosystems and pristine rivers.

Initial areas of focus for the group will include the following:

  • Protection and Improvement of the Saluda Watershed Environments of the North, Middle and South Saluda Rivers
  • Reclassification of the North Saluda as a Trout Stream
  • Monitoring of River Quality
  • Political Action

  • Community Outreach and Education about Watershed Issues
